The Collective Housing Notebooks (CHC) are the result of a cooperation agreement between FAUUSP researchers with ETSAM-UPM, which resulted in the elaboration of a Brazilian version of the Cuadernos de Viviendas" originally developed by GIVCO. This agreement aims at systematizing information about collective housing, which will be available to researchers, public agencies, professionals and interested parties.

 

The main objective of the Collective Housing Notebooks, as in the "Cuadernos de Viviendas", has been to carry out a complete data base organized for decades that includes the most relevant Brazilian collective housing buildings, both designed and constructed.

 

This database contains systematized references of collective housing projects allowing contrasted and homogeneous comparative readings and therefore, further reflections.
